OUR BACKGROUND

Perfecting Helicopter Aviation for 25 Years

In 1996, founder Jeff Linscott bought a Bell 206 JetRanger and started JL Aviation.  His objective to build a company that was dedicated to providing the most customer-oriented aviation services possible, no matter the mission.  Originally operating out of Portland's PDX airport, our company steadily grew a loyal customer base that recognized our ability to have two uncompromising corporate values - ensure the client's success, and never compromise safety.

Since our inception, JLA has grown to a fleet of 5 helicopters and 2 airplanes, operates out of our own private airport east of Portland OR, and has successfully flown tens of thousands of hours of challenging tasks throughout North America and Alaska without incident, accident, or violation.  Our growing list of missions accomplished and perfect safety record has led to what we believe proves we are succeeding at our original objectives - our customers continue coming back to us for their aviation needs.

With over a century of collective aviation experience, Team JLA is ready to help you succeed.
